Project overview
Barratt Developments – Manchester Division appointed us as Principal Contractor for a complex below-ground structure at the Waldmers Wood housing development in Bury, Greater Manchester. The scheme was part of the regeneration of the former Tetrosyl site, preparing the land for the construction of much needed new homes.
Scope of works
Our works centred on the construction of a 14-metre-deep, 5.0-metre-diameter caisson shaft, complete with a baffle wall and a reinforced concrete cover slab. This required specialist knowledge, careful sequencing and strict compliance with health and safety regulations.
